The Films that Make you Think film club and the Stockey Centre are teaming up again for a special showing. On Wednesday, the prophetic film, The Messenger will be shown at the Stockey Centre beginning at 7:00pm. Film Club Founder Glen Hodgson says every one of us interacts with birds on a daily basis and the issues that our feathered friends face is a warning to the human population that must not be ignored. Sue Rynard’s documentary explores our deep-seated connection to birds and warns that the uncertain fate of songbirds might mirror our own. As an added bonus, the feature will be followed with a Q and A via Skype with the director who will answer audience questions and offer ideas and suggestions for those who are inspired to take action to help songbirds.
