A public open house is being held in Humphrey to review a proposed Official Plan Amendment. The Seguin Water Quality Model has been reviewed and the Official Plan contains policies based on the sensitivity of lakes and their threshold status to phosphorus determined using the water quality model. Where lakes are modeled and their threshold status and sensitivity has changed as a result of the updates to the Seguin Water Quality Model, the Official Plan requires that “Appendix I Lake Sensitivity” be updated. The Open House will be held at the Humphrey Community Hall on Saturday June 11th from 10:30am until 12:00pm. Comments received from the Public Open House will be considered by Council in the development of the Township’s update to the Official Plan.
