A local bridge will receive improvements thanks to a provincial program. Ontario is providing $20 million dollars this year to municipalities across the province through the Connecting Links Program. The Armstrong Bridge in Burk’s Falls on Highway 520 will receive over a million dollars to complete rehabilitation work. The program is to make roads and bridges safer, create economic growth and create or sustain jobs. There are 22 other municipalities receiving work.
