Halloween is just around the corner and police want everyone to have a safe day and night. Almaguin Highlands OPP says children young and old need to make sure they’re safe while trick or treating. They remind everyone to bring a flashlight to help others see you, only walk on sidewalks and never enter homes strange homes only visit the houses that are well lit. Halloween falls on a Saturday so, there may be those trick or treaters who stay out extra late.
