The OPP is warning Central Region residents of a recent string of truck tailgate thefts. The thefts have occurred so far in Barrie and Orillia. Newer pickup trucks often feature a backup camera which is attractive to thieves according to officials. Police are reminding everyone to lock your tailgate when you leave your vehicle.
