John Macfie given honorary diploma by Fleming College

Fleming College is honouring a local historian with an honorary diploma.
The college says they are giving it to John Macfie for his dedication to writing, recording and sharing the history of forestry and logging in Ontario.
They say his connection to the school began with his work with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
John Macfie is a well-known author and historian in Parry Sound. There is currently an exhibit documenting his work at the Museum on Tower Hill.
