C.P. Holiday Train
The first cross-continent tour for the CP Holiday Train in three years will see it make stops in MacTier, Parry Sound, and Shawanaga.
The train will be in Parry Sound at the Festival Station Gallery at 1 Avenue Rd. at 4:15 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 30. Country singer Tenille Townes and Aysanabee, who is Oji-Cree from the Sucker Clan of the Sandy Lake First Nation, will perform.
When the train stops in Parry Sound, Moose FM and Engel and Volkers are teaming up to collect donations for the Harvest Share Food Bank. There will also be hot cocoa and Whispering River Music will be playing music until the train arrives.
The train will also be stopping at Georgian Bay community at 2:50 PM at the Old CP Station and at the Band Office beside Village Rd. in Shawanaga at 5:30 PM.
