Parry Sound is officially taking applications for grants under its Municipal Assistance Program.
The grant, which runs annually pending budget approval, is open to volunteer, non-profit community groups as well as community economic development agencies and is used to provide financial assistance to support their activities, strengthening the contribution they make to the overall well-being of the community.
Interested groups are encouraged to fill out and submit the program application no later than August 19th.
The town says previous grant recipients are required to submit the post-project report.
Applications must be sent to the attention of April McNamara, Parry Sound’s Manager of Parks & Recreation.
