Residential property owners in Parry Sound should be seeing a Service Line Warranties of Canada (SLWC) letter about optional service line repair plans in their mail this week.
Through an agreement with the town, the no-deductible, low-cost plans ensure homeowners do not have to pay hundreds or even thousands out-of-pocket for a repair.Â
The plans, which start at $5.75 a month, give homeowners reliable access to local, licensed, and vetted contractors who can quickly and professionally complete needed repairs on service lines.
The first letter was mailed on December 29th, and contains updated information about the available optional plans keeping in mind there is no obligation to sign up for a plan, and participation in the program is voluntary.
The program is provided at no cost to Parry Sound and no public funds are used to promote or administer it.
