The West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation has a new Executive Director.
Christine McKernan will be taking on the role from Lynne Atkinson who held the position for nearly 14 years.
Kim Karges, Chair of the Foundation, says Atkinson did a really good job and the foundation wants to keep that momentum going with the incoming director.
“We’re very excited. I think [McKernan] brings definitely new insights and we look forward to continuing the momentum and supporting excellent health care in Parry Sound,” Karges says. “And we’ll do that through a strong executive director!”
McKernan brings 23 years of fund development experience in progressively senior positions to the foundation.
A long-time seasonal and now full-time Seguin resident, McKernan will be starting in her new role in the next few weeks.
