Thursday and Friday (December 2nd and 3rd) marks Moose FM’s annual Radiothon in support of the Salvation Army.
Each year the Moose FM sets aside two days to allow local residents and businesses to donate what they can to both ensure that local families and especially children have the best possible Christmas and that the Salvation Army can continue its community work year round.
Listeners are asked to give what they can, and local businesses are encouraged to donate and challenge other like businesses.
Last year’s two-day radiothon raised $45.724.55. Those wishing to donate can call 705-746-53 91, phones will be answered at the Salvation Army from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Donations from 6:00 a.m. to 7 can be called into the station at 705-746-4291.)
