Police say the Sunday night Bowes St. collision that sent a pedestrian to hospital with non-life threatening injuries is not a hit and run.
However, the OPP’s West Parry Sound detachment is still looking for more information on the incident.

A pedestrian was taken to hospital after getting struck by a car on Sunday around Bowes St. and Pine Dr.
The local OPP detachment, fire department, and Emergency Medical Services responded to a collision involving a motor vehicle and pedestrian around 7 PM.
Police say the collision occurred on Bowes Street when a person crossed the street and was hit by a car traveling west.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital by EMS with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, and the OPP is asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them at 1-888-310-1122
According to listener reports, the intersection was closed for a period of time following the accident but is now open.
