The local health unit reported two cases of COVID-19 and no recoveries from the District of Parry Sound today(Tuesday).
The district now stands at 12 active cases including one resident being treated in hospital.
No new cases and three recoveries were reported from Nipissing bringing that district down to four active cases.
Another 722 COVID-19 vaccines were administered by our health unit between Monday and Tuesday with about 59 tests done in Parry Sound alone.Â
As of Tuesday afternoon, a total of 45,986 vaccine doses have been given in the North Bay Parry Sound District, with about 43 percent of adults in its region having received at least one shot of a COVID-19 vaccine.
