Parry Sound down to four active COVID-19 cases Friday

The local health unit reported one recovery from COVID-19 and no new cases from Parry Sound today(Friday).

That places the district at four active cases with the health unit reporting one more person tested positive for a variant from Parry Sound. 

In Nipissing, three cases and one recovery were added pushing that district to 13 active cases with one more Nipissing local testing positive for a variant on Friday. 

Over the last day, the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit did 299 COVID-19 tests and administered over 1,400 doses of vaccines. 

As of this afternoon, over 25,000 vaccines have been given in our district with a little short of a quarter of the district now having received at least one shot.
