The local health unit reported two new COVID-19 cases and no recoveries from the North Bay Parry Sound District on Wednesday.
One case was added from Parry Sound bringing the district up to four active cases.
The other case was added from Nipissing bringing that district up to nine active cases.
The new cases, one 19 and younger and one 40 to 59 years old, both contracted the virus through community transmission and are now self-isolating.
The health unit administered another 684 vaccine doses and ran over 200 tests for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
