OPP ask for help in finding Federal Offender

The Ontario Provincial Police is asking the public for help in finding a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant.

The offender, 28-year-old Jonathon Morningstar is described as an Indigenous 5’11” (180cm), 228 lbs (105kgs) man with brown hair and brown eyes.

The OPP say he has several tattoos including on both arms the words Honour, Loyalty, Respect and a Dream Catcher.

According to the OPP’s release, he has the phrase ” Push Harder Then Them” on his left forearm and tattooed on his right upper arm are three clowns.

Morningstar is known to frequent the Algoma and Sault Ste. Marie area as well as the cities of Oshawa and Peterborough.

He is wanted as a result of his breach of statutory release and is currently serving a sentence of four years and six months for several offences including possession of a narcotic for the purpose of trafficking, assault bodily harm and possession of (stolen) property over $5000.
