The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit reported one new case of COVID-19 on Thursday.
Three more people recovered from the virus in Parry Sound and two in Nipissing, bringing the total number of active cases in both to 14.
The positive case, now self-isolating, is a Parry Sound resident between the age of 60 and 79 years who contracted the virus through close contact.
According to the health unit’s latest data, 469 tests were done since Wednesday.
