The North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit reported nine more recoveries and two new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.
According to the health unit’s latest data, one new case was added to both Parry Sound and Nipissing Districts.
That brings the total number of active cases in both districts to 25, with 243 tests administered since Monday.
The number of COVID-19 outbreaks reported also went up today after the health unit declared one at Eastholme Home for the Aged after a staff member tested positive.
Both new cases are between the age of 20-39 years old, with one outbreak-linked and the other contracting the virus through close contact.
