Health Unit reports two new cases

The North Bay-Parry Sound Health Unit reported on Friday that two individuals had tested positive for COVID-19 in the Parry Sound District.

This brings the total of cases to 93 in the North Bay-Parry Sound region since the pandemic began.

One of the new cases is listed as “Community Contact”, the other “close contact of a case”. Both are in the age group of 60-79. One is isolating at home, the other in Hospital. One more case was also listed as resolved at the same time.

A total of seven cases are listed as active, five are in the Parry Sound District. The region remains in the “Green Zone”. As of this morning Simcoe Muskoka has moved up to red. For more information on what each colour coding means head to the Health Unit’s websiteNBPSHU
