The Category 2 water-main break on Nobel Road, in the vicinity of Sylvan Drive and Municipal Drive has been repaired. McDougall’s Environment and Public Work Crews finished the repairs and had water restored by 11:15 P.M last evening.
Now a boil water advisory will be issued for the system users. It is recommended that water from taps in this area be brought to a rolling boil for one minute, then allowed to cool before consuming to ensure safe drinking water or alternatively, residents should obtain water from a source that is safe or purchase bottled water instead.
