Above average requests for the flu vaccine has the North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit making some changes.
The Health Unit has announced that due to that increase in requests they are now booking appointments into mid-November and will not be accepting any new bookings until the first week of November.
Information on community flu shot clinics will be made public in the upcoming weeks.
The flu vaccine is provided to health units from the Ministry of Health, these shipments come weekly with a larger shipment in mid-November. There are currently no active cases of the flu within the district
