A home has been destroyed by fire on Rankin Lake Road just south of the town of Parry Sound in Seguin Township. The blaze at 31 Rankin Lake Road was first reported yesterday afternoon. No one was home at the time. The Parry Sound and McDougall Fire Departments provided mutual aid to the Seguin Fire Department in battling the fire. Firefighters remained for hours putting out hotspots after the flames had been brought under control. No cause for the fire has been released.
