West Parry Sound OPP is charging a Beeton man following a collision on Highway 400 near Seguin Township.
On Saturday, members of the detachment responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the southbound lanes of the highway near exit 213.
After speaking with the driver, officers determined alcohol had been consumed.
As a result, the driver was arrested and transported to the West Parry Sound OPP detachment for further testing.
The 26-year old Beeton man is being charged with operating a vehicle while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80-plus.
He’ll be before a judge at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on August 20, 2020.
He was also issued a 90-day drivers licence suspension and his vehicle was destroyed in the collision.
