PARRY SOUND, ON-Residents are being advised that the fire danger rating in the West Parry Sound region remains moderate.
McDougall Fire Chief Brian Leduc confirmed during this time, standard burning rules continue, and it is everyone’s responsibility to check available resources before lighting a fire to see what is allowed in your area.
Campfires for cooking or warmth, fire permits, and residential fireworks are allowed, however, daytime burning is still prohibited.
