PARRY SOUND, ON-The Town of Parry Sound is launching a new campaign to promote local shopping during the pandemic.
The Town acknowledges that the pandemic has brought drastic changes to everyday life, and now more than ever, the community needs to support one another by shopping local to ensure the economy recovers.
In this effort, the Town has partnered up with the Parry Sound Downtown Business Association and the Chamber of Commerce in supporting the new provincial “Shop Local! Shop Safe! Shop with Confidence! Campaign.” This move is in an effort to believe a boost to town retailers, small businesses, and artists following the commencement of the third phase of reopening.
“We urge our permanent and seasonal residents to support local vendors who have persevered during the lockdown, investing resources and creativity to safely reopen, and who are now ready to serve customers in a safe and responsible manner in compliance with the Prince safety protocols,” said Parry Sound Mayor, Jamie McGarvey.
With the help of the public, the Town said that they could ensure Parry Sound continues to be an ideal spot live and work.
