PARRY SOUND, ON-The North Bay-Parry Sound District Health Unit has confirmed a new case of COVID-19 in the region.
Confirmed to be the 31st case, the person infected is a woman ranging from 40-59 years old, who is self-isolating after contracting the virus through the community.
Due to privacy reasons, the health unit is not providing any further information as to where the person resides to protect their identity.
The number of recovered cases in the region is 29.
