The North Bay-Parry Sound Health Unit was on a roll with no new cases reported last week. However, the run is over with the diagnosis of another case within the Unit’s boundaries.
The latest case, which brings the total diagnosed in the region to thirty is a male between the ages of sixty and seventy-nine from the Parry Sound district.
The man caught the virus in the community and is now isolating.
Of the thirty cases all, with the exception of the new case are resolved.
There has been just a single death caused by COVID-19 since March and just over 9,600 tests have been conducted.
