Fire danger rating continues to be moderate

MCDOUGALL, ON-The Weekly Fire Danger Rating continues at moderate risk for the Parry Sound region.

McDougall Fire Chief Brian Leduc said the normal burning rules continue, and it is the resident’s responsibility to check with your local Municipality before you light a fire to determine what is allowed in your area. 

Blazes like campfires for cooking and warmth, fire permits and household fireworks are allowed, but any daytime burning can only be permitted when you receive permission from your Municipality.
