Parry Sound opens beaches in time for weekend

As expected, the Town of Parry Sound has opened its beaches with both Waubuno and Centennial (old Town) beaches opened for public use.

Those wishing to use the beaches are reminded that “physical distancing” of two meters must be maintained and that groups of more than five people are prohibited.

Washrooms, change rooms and playground equipment remains closed.

Both Seguin and Carling Townships opened their beaches last weekend under similar restrictions.

For up to date information on COVID-19 and how it relates to your outdoor and leisure time activities check your Municipality’s website.
