As of June 03rd the Municipal Fire Danger Rating across most of the District of West Parry Sound has been set to Moderate.
Normal burning resumes, but a reminder to check with your local Municipality before you burn to determine exactly what is permitted in your area.
In general across the region campfires for cooking and warmth are permitted as are fire permit fires and household fireworks.
Daytime burning by special permit and permission are okay, but check with your Municipality first for rules and regulations.
