Dangerous motorcycle driving leads to charges

CARLING TOWNSHIP, ON-The West Parry Sound OPP have laid several charges against an Ottawa resident.

On May 22nd, around 3:00 p.m., police were patrolling Highway 69 in Carling Township when they were passed by a motorcycle driver travelling quickly in the same direction as the officers.

The cyclist was later found on Horseshoe Lake Rd. in Seguin Township.

A 26-year-old was charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, fleeing from police, performing stunts, speeding 50 kilometres over the limit, driving with no plates, not having the proper license, and not having insurance.

Their vehicle has been impounded, and their license was also suspended.
