Beaches in Carling now open

CARLING, ON-Following provincial guidelines during the COVID-19 outbreak, the Township of Carling has opened up its municipal beaches.

The Township confirmed as of today, both the Shebeshekong Beach and Fitzgerald Beach are open to the public.

If you decide to visit the beaches, the Township asks that you make sure your 2020 municipal permits are visible on either your rear-view mirror or your dashboard to park at both sites.

Residents are reminded that despite these beaches now being open, physical distancing rules are still in effect and there should be no groups larger than five.
