Canadian Blood Services will be in Parry Sound on Friday for a clinic at St. Peter’s Knights of Columbus Hall.
The difference with this clinic is that CBS is taking appointment donors only.
Elaine St. Pierre from CBS says that not only is donating blood safe during the COVID-19 outbreak it is actually essential for patients who rely on the donated blood every day.
Those interested in donating blood should go to www.blood.ca take the eligibility quiz and make an appointment.
Friday’s clinic will run from 2 until 7 p.m.
