A 14-year-old from Springwater Township was killed on Sunday afternoon in Kearney as the result of a snowmobile collision.
Police report that just before 3:00 p.m. Almaguin Highlands OPP, Kearney Fire Department and Parry Sound E.M.S. responded to a single snow vehicle collision near Rain Lake Road on the OFSC Top D Trail.
Police report that Mark Ramolla’s snow machine left the trail and struck a tree. He was pronounced deceased shortly after.
Assisting in the investigation are an OPP Reconstructionist and Technical Collision Investigator.
