The Town of Parry Sound is reaching out to residents for their comments on the Town’s draft of their 2020-2030 Strategic Plan.
The document was received by council from town staff and the town’s consulting firm at Tuesday night’s meeting of Council.
Some of the items in the report include diversifying the local economy and promoting Parry Sound as the regional centre, taking action on the development of the waterfront, collaborating with area municipalities to improve tourism marketing and the support of a range of housing options including attainable housing.
Deadline to comment is February 13th and links to both the comment form and the draft strategic plan are available

The plan is scheduled to come back to Council on February 18th.
