The Museum on Tower Hill is hosting a presentation by Major Tony Keene this Thursday, January 16th at the Museum from 6 to 8 p.m.

Major Keene, a member of the Grey and Simcoe Foresters and volunteer speaker with the Memory Project. Major Keene will be discussing the mythology of our military history, and the reality facing our veterans today.

Major Keene was with the Grey and Simcoe Foresters for 40 years, participating in 4 operational tours of duty before retiring in 2007. He is a professional journalist having written for magazines and newspapers; and is the author of a children’s book that explores Canadian naval history.

Admission to Keene’s presentation “The Mythology of War” is by donation.
