Council will discuss a couple of resolutions about the OPP billing model today. At their regular meeting this evening, they’ll discuss support for a resolution from McKellar to put a moratorium on the implementation of the new OPP Billing model until the principles of a fair and equitable billing model can be addressed. Then they’ll discuss support for a resolution from Bancroft for the province to implement a billing model for policing in unorganized townships. The meeting starts at 4:30pm in the council chambers in Humphrey.
