PARRY SOUND, ON – An investigation is ongoing and two people are dead after a car was involvedĀ in a crash with a dump truck.
West Parry Sound OPP said officers along with EMS and fire crews responded to a collision on Parry Sound Drive around 9 p.m. last night.
Police said the collision involved a dump truck with a trailer and a passenger vehicle. Jaidyn Phillis, 19, of McDougall Township and Mukonda Chizelu, 19, of Toronto were killed.
The driver of the dump truck wasn’t injured.
OPP said the West Parry Sound detachment along with the North East Region Technical Traffic Collision Unit are investigating.
