PARRY SOUND, ON-The Near North District School Board has re-elected their chair and vice-chair.
In a meeting last night, the NNDSB voted to re-elect Trustee Jay Aspin as the Chair and John Cochrane and the Vice-Chair.
Aspin has been the chair over the past year and along with the other trustees, moved the boards initiatives forward.
Aspin went on to say,”While the board has a lot of work to do, he is confident that the trustees will make decisions that best reflect the interest of the students and communities.”
The board is currently creating a new multi-year plan which includes a review of the organization structure and the recruitment of a new Director of Education.
