MUSKOKA, ON-The Gore Mutual Foundation partnered up with Noble Insurance Brokers to donate $10,000 to the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka.

On November 6th, both of the organizations showed their support to build healthy communities in Simcoe, Muskoka and Parry Sound. According to the press release, this money will allow children, adults and seniors to participate in a variety of YMCA programs.

Shelley Vermeersch, Managing Director of Howard Noble Insurance Limited said in the press release that they are more than just insurance specialists, they are parents, friends and neighbors who have been part of the Georgian Bay community for almost 80 years and that this was their way of giving back.

Last year the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka provided over $1 million in financial assistance to 15,000 children, youth, adult and senior programs.

The YMCA in Simcoe/Muskoka offers a variety of programs for people of all ages ranging from health and fitness, recreation programs, camp, youth leadership and immigration services.
