PARRY SOUND, ON- Snow squalls will be moving across our area this evening.
That’s according to Environment Canada, who have issued an advisory for the following areas:
- Bracebridge – Gravenhurst
- Huntsville – Baysville
- Port Carling – Port Severn
- Town of Parry Sound – Rosseau – Killbear Park
The weather service has said that cold westerly flow over the relatively warm waters of Georgian Bay is expected to produce isolated snow squalls beginning tonight.
The snow squall bands are expected to temporarily move over the region tonight and possibly on Wednesday.
Locally heavy snowfall accumulations are possible, along with reduced visibilities at times.
Falling temperatures through the night may also cause roads to become icy or slippery.
Residents should prepare for hazardous driving conditions at times.
