Motorists in Parry Sound should take note that construction will get underway this week on Bowes Street in the vicinity of McDonald’s.
Fowler Construction were successful in bidding for the job that will replace a section of failing storm sewer.
The project at a cost of $106,000 will see the removal of approximately 46 meters of existing 300mm diameter concrete storm sewer and the installation of 375mm diameter concrete storm sewer as a replacement.
Construction will continue into October and officials are urging caution from motorists as the work on one of the busiest routes in town continues.
