PARRY SOUND, ON- The risk of forest fire is still high in Parry Sound.
According to the latest notice from the West Parry Sound Fire Region, the danger rating for the area remains unchanged from High. This means that campfires are allowed for cooking and warmth only, and fireworks are not allowed.
The rating will stay in place until September 4th, 2019.
Residents are encouraged to check with their local municipality for allowable burning activities in their area.
