Part one of a fundraiser for the Helping Kids Play – JumpStart Program is set for this afternoon. The Rotary Club of Parry Sound, with the support of ScotiaBank and Canadian Tire are holding a Meet and Greet with Mickey and Pete, Winners of the Amazing Race Canada today and next Saturday. Today’s event will be held at Scotiabank in downtown Parry Sound from noon until 4:30pm and November 8th event will be at Canadian Tire in the south entrance of town from 10:00am until 2:00pm. All donations received will go toward the Helping Kids Play – JumpStart Program that provides financial support for children’s participation in organized sport, recreational and cultural activities.
