Three more boil advisories have popped up in Algonquin Park

ALGONQUIN PARK, ON – A trio of boil advisories have returned to a provincial park.

Less than a month removed from Ontario Parks finally clearing all of the boil advisories within Algonquin Park, three advisories have returned.

According to Ontario Parks, the Canisbay, Mew Lake, and Lake of Two Rivers campgrounds are all under a boil advisory.

These advisories are to prevent park guests from consuming or using the water that might get them sick.

The advisory suggests that park visitors bring their own water or get it from other spots in the park. If anyone is going to use the water at those three sites, they are encouraged to boil it for at least one minute.

The boiling process eliminates bacteria that can cause adverse health effects.
