PARRY SOUND, ON – Residents and cottagers are being warned that the Fire Danger Rating will remain at high for the next week.

According to a release from the West Parry Sound Fire Coordinator, the rating will stay in effect from July 12th to 18th.

The release added that all fire permits are suspended for the region. It also means that fireworks are prohibited, but campfires for cooking and to keep warm are still allowed.
