PARRY SOUND, ON- Council has approved the final list of local businesses who have applied for funding under the town’s “Façade Improvement Project”.
The Review Committee for the project gave the nod to six businesses including FAD Architects for their work on the old “Star Building” downtown, Parry Sound Insurance and Georgian Bay Software.
The total awarded to six businesses was just over $26,400 with the value ranging from just over $550 to $12,400.
Eight applications were received with two being denied.
The following businesses received approval.
-97a Bowes Street (Maurizio’s Pizzeria) in the amount of $10,750.50;
-47 Gibson Street (Don Corbett) in the amount of $12,427.20;
-69a Bowes Street (Parry Sound Insurance) in the amount of $562.50;
-42 Gibson Street (Georgian Bay Software) in the amount of $1,250.00;
-19 James Street (White Squall) in the amount of $1,525.00;
-67 James Street (FAD Architects) in the amount of $9,570.00.
