PARRY SOUND, ON – A deadly crash on Highway 69 has closed the road in both directions this afternoon.
According to the North East Region O.P.P., there was a serious collision with one fatality on the highway near French River and because of that, the road is going to be closed between Highway 124 and Highway 64 in both directions for the foreseeable future.
Multiple witnesses reported seeing a vehicle burning along the route.
The O.P.P. say that they are not sure when the road will be re-open as the fire was bad enough that it was a challenge to get close to the vehicle.
