Union Gas taking on Enbridge brand

CHATHAM-KENT, ON- Customers over Union Gas are going to see a new name on their bill.

As of today, Union Gas has been absorbed into Enbridge Gas. Which means that the gas company is now Enbridge.

The customers of what is now under the Enbridge umbrella will now see newly designed bills, bill inserts, website interfaces, marketing materials and integrated social media.

Branding on the vehicles and building is expected to be switched over to the new logo in the coming months.

Although the two companies are amalgamating, Enbridge says to make sure the transition is seamless, customers can continue to interact with their utility person as they have in the past.

From a billing perspective, payees simply need to change the name online from Union Gas to Enbridge Gas.

Same with people paying by cheque and there are no changes needed if it comes directly out of your account.

“We’re proud to deliver the energy people want and need to fuel their lives every day. And we’re excited by the opportunity to do so more efficiently as one company, guided by our shared core values of safety, integrity and respect,” said Andrea Stass, Manager of External Communications, Media Relations and Brand.
