RON BASKEY
Ronald Knowles Baskey passed away peacefully at home with family by his side,
on Saturday, June 1st, 2019; just two days before his 82nd birthday.
Beloved husband of Audrey Baskey (Little).
Loving father of Anthony and his wife Heather.
Ron will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Ron was a proud Navy Veteran fulfilling his duty from 1955 until his honourable discharge in 1960. He began his firefighting career in North York, Toronto, on April 8th, 1963 and retired as a decorated firefighter on April 8th, 1993. Ron will be forever remembered by his fellow firefighters for his passion and dedication to service.
Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home (705-746-5855), 81 James Street, Parry Sound on Wednesday, June 5th from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M.
Funeral Service will take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel
on Wednesday, June 5th at 3:00 P.M.
Reception to follow.
Cremation with interment of ashes in Carling Cemetery at a later date.
